Ozone System Maintenance
Keep your water crystal clear and bacteria-free with proper ozone management.
1. Check for Bubbles

The "Champagne" Stream
Ozone gas is injected into the water via a Venturi system. You should see a steady stream of fine bubbles entering the tub from the return jet whenever the pump is running.
No Bubbles?
This usually means low water flow. Clean your filter immediately. If flow is weak, the ozone injector cannot create the suction needed to pull gas into the water.
2. How to Measure ORP
Using an ORP Meter- ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) measures the water's ability to sanitize itself. It is the most accurate way to test your water quality.
1. Prepare
Remove the protective cap from the ORP meter. If the meter has been dry for a long time, soak the tip in tap water for 5 minutes.
2. Measure
Turn the meter ON. Submerge the probe tip into the ice bath water (about 1-2 inches). Swirl it gently to remove air bubbles from the sensor.
3. Read & Rinse
Wait for the number to stabilize (this can take 30-60 seconds). Record the reading. Rinse the probe with fresh tap water before putting the cap back on.

Quick Tips
-
checkReading > 800mV? Run ozone less.
-
closeReading < 650mV? Clean filter & run pump 24/7.
Need a Meter?
We recommend the Milwaukee MW500 or simple Hanna handheld testers. Standard digital pool testers work great.
