Filter Maintenance
1. WATERWAY (Ice Bath Pro/ MIB Filter)

Cleaning Schedule
-
Rinse: Weekly. Remove the cartridge and hose off thoroughly.

Replace: Every 2-4 months or ~100 plunges.
How to Bleed
-
Turn on the pump.
-
Locate the air relief knob on top of the filter housing.
-
Twist counter-clockwise until water spurts out steadily.
-
Tighten clockwise to close.
System Flushing
For MIB Models: Flush entire plumbing system every 1-2 months. Drain tub, fill half the tub with fresh water, connect garden hose to hose adapter. Insert into bulkhead . Turn on hose and run for 10 minutes , drain again, and refill.
For Ice Bath Pro Models: Please note there is no way to flush the plumbing lines on Morozko Pros.

2. Short Waterway (Ice Plunge)

Cleaning Schedule

Rinse: Weekly. Critical due to smaller surface area.

Replace: Every 2 months or sooner if flow reduces.
How to Bleed
-
Ensure pump is off.
-
Loosen the small bleed screw on top of housing.
-
Wait for air hiss to stop and water to flow.
-
Retighten screw gently.
System Flushing
Unlike other models, you cannot flush the plumbing lines on an Ice Plunge (running the filtration system will not flush them). Instead, when changing the water, simply ensure the mini-filter housing is fully drained to remove sediment.

3. Intex (Ice Plunge/ MIB Filter)

Cleaning Schedule

Rinse: Every 30-60 days. Turn off pump and use plugs before opening.

Replace: Type A or B cartridges every 6 months to a year. Replace filter if it fails to return to its original white color.
How to Bleed
-
Unscrew the air release valve on top of housing.
-
Wait for water to flow out.
-
Tighten back down.
System Flushing
For MIB Models: Every 4-6 weeks. Drain tub, fill with half the tub with fresh water, connect garden hose to hose adapter. Insert into bulkhead. Turn on hose and run for 10 minutes, drain again, and refill.
For Ice Plunge Models: Please note there is no way to flush the plumbing lines on an Ice Plunge.

4. HAYWARD

Cleaning Schedule

Check: Check the Inlet strainer weekly and remove any hair or debris.
-
Rinse: Rinse filter monthly.
-
Replace: Annually or when the filter fails to return to a white color.
How to Bleed
Note: You cannot bleed a Hayward filter.
System Flushing (Older Units)
Flush entire plumbing system every 6-12 months. Drain tub, fill with half the tub with fresh water. Remove microphone filter. Connect drain hose to hose adapter and the opposite end into the plastic sheath that held the microphone filter. Turn on hose and run for 1 hour, drain again, and refill.
