About The System 8
Adam Boily, MS is The System 8 founder & complete coach. His passion for competitive sports drove him to understand the optimal development methods for athletes across all sports, ages, & skill levels. Upon completing a Master of Science in movement science with a sports biomechanics specialization, he began implementing this expertise with elite athletes worldwide. Years of experience have allowed Adam to develop a streamlined, effective approach that helps athletes achieve success while maintaining peak health, with a methodology that focuses on optimizing eight fundamental human systems.
Scott Gettman, MS is a Health Specialist for the City of Huntington Beach & nutritionist for TheSystem8. His academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance from Florida Gulf Coast University complemented by a Master of Science in Nutrition from Logan University. At The System 8, nutritional excellence is considered the cornerstone for developing not just complete athletes, but healthy individuals overall. Scott maintains a balance of advocating certain fundamental nutrition principles, while recognizing each person requires a unique approach to reach their optimal state of wellbeing and performance, believing that food serves as both medicine and fuel for the body.
