Morozko Short Ice Barrel

Your SHORT ICE BARREL includes microfiltration and ozone disinfection to maintain clean, sanitized water without chlorine, water stabilizers, or toxic chemicals.  There is no need for a plumbing connection or a drain line.

All Morozko models are designed to be free-standing, operate without regular water changes, and are warrantied for Epsom salt and Morozko Minerals. The replaceable filter keeps your water clear and requires your inspection and replacement about every hundred plunges.

A digital temperature controller and 1/3HP condensing unit allows you to set any water temperature right down to 32F (0C), even when surrounding temperatures are above 110F.  During winter, a separate warming circuit keeps the filter, pump, and piping from freezing in outdoor temperatures as low as -10F for up to 12 consecutive hours when the filter pump is on.  The cedar staves on the Short Barrel are protected by a tung oil-based Exoshield finish.

Morozko baths are water-filled appliances and should be installed on a surface designed to tolerate water exposure and splashing.  Morozko cannot be responsible for water damage to surrounding floors or other surfaces.  Morozko is warrantied for outdoor installation in temperatures as low as -10F when the pump is set to run continuously.  Your mechanical and electrical components are designed to resist weather, not flooding.  Place your Morozko in a location that will not be subject to inundation during heavy downpours.

The SHORT ICE BARREL is built from stainless steel, weighing nearly 435lb when empty (1432lb full). It measures almost 38-1/2" in diameter and will NOT fit through a standard 32" doorway.

Technical drawings are available on request.

Durable wooden shield style lids are standard on the SHORT ICE BARREL and are suitable for outdoor installation.  Annual application of tung oil is recommended to preserve the lid and other whole wood components.
