Alex Belew
Ice Bath Insights
After struggling with weight gain and low testosterone levels during the Covid pandemic, Alex realized that he needed to make a lifestyle change. He began working out and started prescribed testosterone therapy in order to overcome inactivity from lockdown. Eventually, he was able to access an ice bath at his friend's summer home, leading to a life changing experience.
His first experience of cold plunging came with an incredible rush of energy unlike any he had felt before. This led him to continue his own research and incorporating ice baths into his everyday routine. Alex describes ice baths as "an addictive way of waking up". Along with this, regular ice baths have also helped him to combat inflammation in his knees and joints.
